Course Introduction
UEIS is a K6-12 high school in Taiwan that offers U.S. high school curriculum. At UEIS, we provide our students the opportunity to learn, connect, explore, and collaborate with a community from across the globe under all English lectures. This unique exposure gives our students a wider worldview by building cross-cultural understanding as we prepare them to become global citizens. In addition, students are 100% accepted into 4-year colleges and universities.
- All-English U.S. High School Curriculum: UEIS adopts the Common Core, a set of academic standards for what every student is expected to learn in each grade level, as academic guidelines.
- ESL Intensive Program: For the G6-G10 English Bridge Program, students are classified according to their ability.
- The TOEFL and IELTS language courses start as early as from G6. Every semester, well-prepared students will be assisted to take the TOEFL or IELTS tests.
- The language courses are arranged every summer for students to learn advanced English and adapt to the foreign learning environment in advance. The school also offers regular courses with credits and AP courses to assist students with the early completion of credits.
- Qualified foreign teachers are hired to teach at UEIS in English so that they will meet the admission requirements of top universities.
- The required subjects of top universities are included in our rigorous courses. AP courses / Honors Programs are also provided.
- Cultivate the skills of academic development: learning skills (how to acquire knowledge), research skills (critical thinking, academic inference skills).
- Develop group life skills after school: teamwork, communications, and leadership.
- Reinforce students’ attitude of active learning and frequently communicate with parents about the students’ learning results.
- The Guidance Office provides professional counseling services to assist students with successful application to global top universities.
- The admission rate of the exclusive “College Alliance” and “uPass” is 100 percent. It is the best way to enter world’s top universities.

G12 :
Besides studying the G12 courses, students will directly apply to the world’s top universities with their grades from the first G12 semester. The school will assist students with TOEFL and IELTS language test courses and also offer the College Essay course. One hundred percent of our graduates will be admitted to the world’s top universities.
